The term covers everything from easy to implement diet changes and biohacking supplements, to running electrical currents through your brain while you sleep. What Is Biohacking?
Biohacking for us is a means to improve our body’s biological functions through science and emerging technologies.
We only use biohacks that have been proven safe and effective by the data available and that we have tested ourselves. For us, biohacking includes techniques such as abiding by a ketogenic diet, using nootropics (or smart drugs), building custom workout regimens, weight loss hacks, and adding or removing activities from our daily routine to optimize peak performance.
The main reason we use biohacking is to become the very best physical and biological version of ourselves. It is a constant struggle for professionals in the business world and entrepreneurs to keep up with what is expected these days. Sleep deprivation and long hours are encouraged, while work-life balance is often overlooked. Our goal in searching for the best biohacks is to find a way to meet these demands and become successful, without damaging our health and improving our mental and physical well-being. We measure the effectiveness of any biohack we use by how well it improves the functions of our mind, our body, and how those improvements make us better entrepreneurs and better people.
How Has Biohacking Improved Your Life So Far?
Biohacking has enabled us to accomplish much more in a shorter amount of time. By biohacking sleep, we are able to put our bodies into a restful state faster and help our bodies utilize this time as efficiently as possible, allowing us to not only function on 4-5 hours of sleep per night, but feel more energized than when we were sleeping 8 hours per night. Even just the biological mindfulness that biohacking encourages has made us more aware of how different diets and different workouts affect us personally, allowing us to change these depending on what our goals are.
